Position: Desktop Support/Systems Administrator

Description:
AltisHR is looking to fill an immediate permanent opening for a Systems
Administrator. In this position, you will be assisting with: the day to
day operations/support of local and remote networks; ongoing short and long
term preventative maintenance; planning of system and network
configurations to maximize efficiency and will work independently under
direction of the Network Manager. QUALIFICATONS: Degree in Computer
Studies or a related field, relevant certification or equivalent education,
3-4 years of work experience in desktop support, computer operations, or
systems administration. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience working with
the following: Sonicwall, Watch Guard Firwalls, Cisco Routers, IOS,
Wireless Access Points, VPNs and HTML, CSS. RESPONSIBLE FOR: 1) Back-ups,
setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintaining: OS, workstations,
laptops, desktop applications, printers, user e-mail, Blackberry Devices,
FTP up/download issues. 2) New user set-up, orientation, and training. 3)
Monitor and maintain Firewall Content Filters. 4) Proactively monitor
hardware and software issues. 5) Research procurement of software and
hardware. 6) Maintain asset inventory, necessary documentation, reports,
logs, licensing information and create user manuals. 7) Set-up and
takedown necessary equipment for meetings.

FTP maintenance and Liaise
