Mandatory:
Minimum of 5+ years of the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision making
capabilities;
* Demonstrated risk and compliance analysis skills;
* Demonstrated experience in network support / administration and
system administration on Windows environment. This includes
but not limited to:Windows 2000/2003, .NET framework, IIS, Oracle
9i /10g database, and Solaris 10;
* Experience in troubleshooting network and system issues, remote
connectivity issues;
* Proficiency with desktop tools (Visio, MS Office, MS Project, MS
Outlook);
* Experience in dealing with multiple teams representing various areas
in delivering the project;
* Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with client
organizations;
* A team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Objectives:
* The consultant is to provide off-hours “on call” monitoring and
technical support for our client's application.
Scope:
* The consultant will provide services under the direction of the
Senior Technical Manager.
Key deliverables:
* Off-hour Application Support between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 9
a.m. Mondays to Fridays, weekends, and on all public holidays;
* Proactive monitoring of application services and taking preventive
actions as required;
* Working with our client's staff to rectify problems;
* Understanding of .NET framework, IIS, Oracle 9i /10g database,
Solaris 10 and Windows 2000/2003;
* The consultant will be trained for one week and will be given a
walkthrough of the environment. The consultant will then work with
our client's staff to rectify trouble tickets and problems during off-
hours;
* Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
