Functions:
* Must be able to perform normal systems administrations procedures,
such as adding, modifying, and deleting user accounts
* Perform System back-ups, and performing software maintenance such as
installing operating systems patches and updates
* Install, configure, and maintain vendor software (Java, Adobe,
Apache, and SUN Web Services)
* Work with SUN applications such as NFS and NIS
* Hands-on technical aspects of this role (as the Solutions Architect)
means assisting in the development and delivery of pre and post-sales
presentations and proposals for client engagements
* Utilize demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
and effective presentation, organizational, and planning skills

* Utilize effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work well
in a team environment

Position requirements:
* Must know the UNIX Operating System; specifically Solaris versions
2.6, 2.8, and 10
* Must be able to perform normal systems administrations procedures
(adding, modifying, and deleting user accounts)
* Perform system backups and software maintenance such as installing
operating systems patches and updates
* Must be able to install, configure, and maintain vendor software
(Java, Adobe, Apache and SUN Web services)
* Must know Sun applications such as NFS, NIS +, LDAP and Sun Cluster
services
* Must be capable of preparing and delivering customer presentations
* Familiar with software configuration tools (CVS and ClearCase)
* Bachelor's degree in related field
* Experience can be substituted for education
* Ability to install and configure Windows XP and NT 4.0
* Ability to install third party software on Windows Systems, IE, and
AGI/STK software
* Familiarity with OASYS orbital analysis software, RT Logic systems,
and Storm AIM/ACM software
* Familiar with SDTW Mission Planning Software (SORBET, PAPSAT, and
AutoPlan)
* Understand installation practice of SDTW Mission Unique Software
(directory structures, build processes, and permission statuses)
* Specialize in Mission Unique Software issues
